Mississippi Department of Health Diabetes Programs
Self-management programs provide you with the tools to manage your diabetes and take control of your health and well-being. Both free and paid programs (covered by insurance) are offered.
Diabetes Prevention Programs (DPP)
A Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is designed for individuals diagnosed with pre-diabetes, offering proactive measures to prevent the onset of diabetes.
Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES)
For those already managing diabetes, a Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) program provides essential education and resources to enhance your self-care skills and improve your quality of life.
